Farmer warns US-UK trade deal could drive down standards in food industry

As Liam Fox embarks on a trip to the US in an attempt to broker a trade deal for Britain with America post Brexit, the American Farming Association warns any trade arrangement must include agriculture. This means chlorine washed chickens, hormone-fed beef and genetically modified crops could be exported to the UK. A Somerset-based farmer warns a deal with the US could drive down standards in the food industry.
